The bamboohr integration software can be used to build a centralized database of employee profiles that can be accessed by anyone in the company, with the access permissions you define. Each profile can store personal information and a photo, as well as details on benefits, salary, time off, documents, training, and more. You can also add custom fields to record important information unique to your company.
BambooHR integrations in Adeptia Connect consist of two important components, Triggers and Actions.
Triggers are used when BambooHR is your “Source” application and you want to sync-up Employee and HR data from BambooHR to your target system such as a Payroll provider.
Actions are used when BambooHR is your “Target” application and you want to sync-up data or files from another business system into BambooHR.

Setting up of triggers allows you to sync-up BambooHR with any application. When any event in BambooHR occurs such as creating a new Employee record then the Trigger would automatically kick-off the related connection to sync-up the updates into your target application.
User simply selects the Trigger from a drop-down list as shown in the image below:
An Action specifies how the data will be updated or inserted in BambooHR. While configuring Box as a target, you can select an Action from the list. Below is a snapshot of the drop-down menu that lists all the Actions:
